Endlessly Pursue

Hound of HeavenBrother Sun, Creator

Of so many untold things

Life itself and color, beauty

The span of outspread wings

Formed against the bluest sky

Sun, Creator, draw me nigh

Light, life-giver of the world

Of seasons with their shapes unfurled

Autumn hues and sun-kissed green

Winter white and birth of spring

Light, bring deeper life to me

Only begotten Son of God,

Who formed the world

and chose to trod

Beneath the firmament of sky

Weak and laden, prone to cry

Chosen Son of God, draw nigh

Endlessly pursue, and woo,

As only one like you can do

Whose sacrifice the veil rent

The haunting chase for ages spent

Until shelter divine is mine

And I am thine, and only thine
